Sunflowers, Peconic, NY
For
a short time each summer, the sunflower field at Pindar Vineyards in Peconic
is the most magical place on the North Fork. I stood on top of my SUV to get this shot (these sunflowers are tall). This is only one of two I did some digital work on to eliminate the flowers in the foreground that were only halfway in the picture. Other than that, like the rest of my work, what you see is what was there.
